Why not just re-create school at home? it seems like the easiest way...
You could do that, but there is a reason you're opting out of conventional school.
Just like it is so much easier to swim with the current than against it, we get farther faster when we work with our child's natural inclinations rather than trying to fit them into a mold created by a standardized test.
What do "Agile Development", "Nonviolent Communication" and "Self-Determination Theory" have to do with homeschooling?
Don't worry if you've never come across these terms before - I'll explain during the workshops. I've found tons of crossover value in these concepts - and I'm not the only one! I'll introduce you to a growing movement of people leveraging the science and research behind these principles to expand their children's growth. I think it's important to show that my strategies are not just things I've made up - there are learning centers and organizations across the world that are using these concepts with great success, but I've adapted them for use in the home and focused on how they are useful in families instead of organizations.
What will I learn that I can’t find on free sites and YouTube?
You could absolutely use free content and confuse the heck out of yourself by trying to piecemeal 100 peoples’ advice. It’ll result in 7000 tabs open on your computer, and a frankenhomeschool plan that probably doesn't work for your family.
Or you can attend a small curated group of families just like you and get advice that cuts through the noise and gives you a solid plan for moving forward with confidence.
